Our Work
We support projects that protect forests, preserve water sources, safeguard sacred territories, and strengthen Indigenous-led conservation efforts.
The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is one of the world’s most extraordinary ecosystems—a place
where ancient Indigenous wisdom and exceptional biodiversity have coexisted for thousands of
years. Our mission is to help protect both.
Working in close partnership with the Kogi and other Indigenous communities, we support projects
that safeguard sacred territories, protect rainforests and water sources, preserve ancestral
knowledge, and strengthen Indigenous-led conservation initiatives. Every project is community-
driven, culturally respectful, and designed to deliver long-term environmental and social impact.
Our work extends beyond conservation. We help preserve living cultural traditions, support the
spiritual guardians of the Sierra Nevada, restore sacred landscapes, protect biodiversity, empower
future generations, and share Indigenous knowledge with the world. We believe that protecting
nature also means protecting the people who have cared for it for millennia.
By combining traditional ecological knowledge with modem conservation approaches, we build
partnerships that create lasting, measurable change. Every initiative contributes to a shared vision: a
future where the forests remain standing, rivers continue to flow freely, sacred places are protected,
and Indigenous communities are empowered to lead the stewardship of their ancestral lands.
Together, we are helping protect the Heart of the world—for nature, for Indigenous cultures, and for
future generations.
